Popup

Access the popup by clicking the T icon in the extension section. It displays the total number of tabs across all your open windows. A red background indicates there are untracked windows, while blue signifies all windows are being tracked.

The Popup provides insights and actions for your windows. Navigate to Tabify settings for individual windows and execute common commands like opening/closing windows, suspending tabs, and more.

A blue border on a window denotes it's the active one for the Popup, and a red border indicates an untracked window. To track an untracked window, add it to a workspace or replace an existing one by clicking the3 dot menu and navigate to the window you wish to replace.

Actions

The top toolbar offers several actions you can perform:

  • Blocklist: Toggle blocklists on or off.
  • Group: Expand or collapse all tab groups.
  • Audio: Mute or unmute all tabs, or just the ones playing audio.
  • Suspend: Offers options to either discard or suspend tabs. Suspending changes a tab to a custom page, while discarding removes it from memory.
  • History: Save the history of all tabs in a window, or revert to a previous state.
  • Map Windows: Map current windows, especially useful for restoring windows after a crash.
  • Open Sidepanel: Access the Tabify Sidepanel.
  • Other: Includes actions like taking snapshots, opening new windows, navigating to the Settings page, or accessing this guide.
