The command palette is a feature that opens a command prompt, enabling you to execute common commands such as opening workspace windows, saving history, revisiting previous states, and taking snapshots. It operates by injecting a script into the current tab, presenting a search box for command execution.
Customize the command palette shortcut via chrome://extensions/shortcuts, by default its:
- Windows: Alt + T
- Mac: Command + Shift + T
- ChromeOS: Alt + Shift + T
- Linux: Alt + T

Actions
Here are some common actions available in the command palette:
- Move/close/pin/duplicate tabs: Enter the action to view a list of related commands.
- Open workspace windows: Type Open to display available workspaces and windows for opening.
- Map windows: Automatically try to map untracked windows.
- Group: Use expand or collapse commands to adjust tab groups.
- Audio: Enter Mute or Unmute to manage audio across tabs, or use Go to... to find a playing tab.
- Suspend: Type Suspend to explore tab suspension options.
- Discard: Use Discard to access tab discarding options, or Reload to refresh discarded tabs.
- History: Type Save to record the history of all tabs, or Restore to revert to a previous state.
- Snapshot: Use Take to capture the current state of your windows.
- Sidepanel: Input Open sidepanel to access the sidepanel.
